We focused on the topic of interconnecting the worlds of ERP and ECM, benefits of integrating ECM into information systems, and growing trend to perceive ECM as an essential element of a complex of business applications.

A colorful program was divided into several topical blocks:

FIRST DAY OF CONFERENCE

• The world leading vendors Open Text, SAP and Microsoft introduced the newest trends, approaches and solutions in ECM.

• Heineken Slovakia, Raiffeisen stavební spořitelna, Tristone Flowtech, Xella and others shared with participants their own experiences with the process of selection and deploying an ECM solution.

• We looked closer at the theme of electronic archiving. Our invitation was accepted by the real experts in the field and they gave us an insight into the valid legislation, its interpretation, and recommendation how to deal with electronic documents. A panel discussion was included.

• A new method of electronic invoicing in the ISDOC format for paperless exchange, processing and transfer of invoices, which brings a significant reduction in operational costs, was introduced.

SECOND DAY OF CONFERENCE

• Were presented specific ECM technologies and solutions trough workshops thematically divided into 3 parallel sections.
  
  These were mainly practical examples of solutions of the following areas:

• Document management and information sharing
• Processes optimization and workflow
• Digitization and data mining from documents
• Document management and data archiving in SAP
• ECM solution for SharePoint
• Electronic archive
• Output Management
• Data backup and recovery in ECM environment
